“ARIZONA’S UTILITIES WOULD BE HAPPY TO TAKE THOSE ELECTRONS OFF YOUR HANDS:”
The Los Angeles City Council “voted to boycott" the state of Arizona over its new immigration-enforcement law, and now the Arizona Corporation Commission has responded. Gary Pierce, one of the commissioners chosen in state-wide elections to the utility regulation panel, notes that Los Angeles gets about 25% of its power from Arizona producers. If the City of Angels really wants a boycott, Pierce offers his services to help.”
Scattered sightings of cajones showing up in AZ.

Uh, We don't anticipate that...
Money quote at about 1:25

Nothing to See Here
Ever heard of Jim Pouillon? He's the the guy gunned down this past Friday for holding an anti-abortion sign. Put another way, he was gunned down by a left wing crazy who was offended that Mr. Pouillon was exercising his right to protest abortions.
Ever heard of Dr, George Tiller? Some called him 'Tiller the Killer' as he was considered by many the most notorious late-term (read: partial birth) abortionist in America. He was gunned down by a right wing crazy who was offended that Mr. Tiller was, in his estimation, murdering babies.
Regardless of where your sympathies might or might no lie, its hard to believe the coverage these two events received. The producer of Glenn Beck's radio show did a Factiva search of US news sources for the two stories. How many stories were written on each murder?
Stories written about the murder of the abortion doctor: 643
Stories written about the murder of the man holding an anti-abortion sign: 19
Huh. 3,384% more stories about an abortionist. Wonder if the media takes sides...
My own google search:
George Tiller: 558,000 hits
James Pouillon: 58,400 hits
Even the internet is tilted 10:1
