Hannity/Limbaugh fans most politcally savvy?

We can't have that! Time or the Censorship, er... Fairness Doctrine!!! Free National Enquirers for everyone! Go back to sleep America.

A Pew Research poll broke out groups based on where they got their news and asked 3 questions, the first (and most telling) being 'Which party controls Congress':

  • Hannity & Colmes: 84 percent
  • Rush Limbaugh: 83 percent
  • The New Yorker/Atlantic: 71 percent
  • NPR: 73 percent
  • Colbert Report: 73 percent
  • O'Reilly Factor: 70 percent
  • NewsHour: 66 percent
  • Daily Show: 65 percent
  • C-SPAN: 63 percent (Less than The Daily Show?!?)
  • CNN: 59 percent (Less than that?!?)
  • Letterman/Leno: 51 percent
  • National Enquirer: 44 percent
The really disturbing thing about this is that this means that 41% of CNN viewers must blame the GOP for all the stupidity coming out of Congress for the past 2 years. Its gotta make CNN feel really proud to know that 4/10 of their viewers are so politically stupid they don't even know who's running the country... Or perhaps that's all part of the plan.

Maybe this explains why Conservatives are happier than Liberals?

I just wish they had included a category for Keith Olbermann viewers.

Rich = $250,000/yr, er $200,000, or $150,000, or ...?

"Senator Obama has made a lot of promises. First, he said people making less than $250,000 would benefit from his plan.

"Then, this weekend, he announced in an ad that if you're a family making less than $200,000 you'll benefit - but yesterday right here in Pennsylvania, Senator Biden said tax relief should only go to 'middle-class people' - people making under $150,000 a year.

"At this rate, it won't be long before Senator Obama is right back to his vote (last year) that Americans making just $42,000 a year should get a tax increase."

Once again... whatever.

"The coming liberal thugocracy"

Michael Barone of the Washington Times opines.

"I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors," Barack Obama told a crowd in Elko, Nev. "I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face." Actually, Obama supporters are doing a lot more than getting into people's faces. They seem determined to shut people up. "

First 'Sunspot-less' month in 100 years

I hope this isn't a trend... We don't need the sun to start a cooling cycle.

Sarah Palin is Sarah Connor

This could change everything. Wow.

I'll See Your Dubious 3,000

Paging Al Gore

Even the BBC has to admit it:

Global Temperatures 'to decrease'

Not very well written though:

"A minority of scientists question whether this means global warming has peaked and the earth has proved more resilient to greenhouse gases than predicted."

In truth, a "minority" (less than 50%) of scientists question whether "global warming" is anything more than smoke in the wind.
