Nothing to See Here
Ever heard of Jim Pouillon? He's the the guy gunned down this past Friday for holding an anti-abortion sign. Put another way, he was gunned down by a left wing crazy who was offended that Mr. Pouillon was exercising his right to protest abortions.
Ever heard of Dr, George Tiller? Some called him 'Tiller the Killer' as he was considered by many the most notorious late-term (read: partial birth) abortionist in America. He was gunned down by a right wing crazy who was offended that Mr. Tiller was, in his estimation, murdering babies.
Regardless of where your sympathies might or might no lie, its hard to believe the coverage these two events received. The producer of Glenn Beck's radio show did a Factiva search of US news sources for the two stories. How many stories were written on each murder?
Stories written about the murder of the abortion doctor: 643
Stories written about the murder of the man holding an anti-abortion sign: 19
Huh. 3,384% more stories about an abortionist. Wonder if the media takes sides...
My own google search:
George Tiller: 558,000 hits
James Pouillon: 58,400 hits
Even the internet is tilted 10:1

Does This Need an Explanation?
Let's see Bush '08 debt = bad... so Obama's debt (Bush x 4) = ?
I just can't believe the word 'trillion' is being so flippantly associated with Federal spending. The Progressives are reaching their end game in America. It may very well be too late. Our Children and Grandchildren are already saddled with the tremendous debt they have created and Obama and his associated cronies in Washington are quadrupling down and asking for more.
Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security... all about to be bankrupt with no help in sight, so let's stack on the Federalization of 1/6 of the US economy via a massive health care takeover. The government runs so much more efficiently than private business, I'm sure it'll be great (if you're a Congressman and aren't subject to the restrictions of the bill you are trying to pass for all the serfs)
Throw them all out.

Obama Tortures 9/11 Victims
Follow the links to more pics, commentary from the 2nd(!) flyby of Air Force One (minus Obama) + fighter jet for a simple photo-op (hello Photoshop? Anyone?)

Larry Kudlow speaks
We are beyond screwed at this point... “What is going on in this country? The government is about to take over GM in a plan that completely screws private bondholders and favors the unions. Get this: The GM bondholders own $27 billion and they’re getting 10 percent of the common stock in an expected exchange. And the UAW owns $10 billion of the bonds and they’re getting 40 percent of the stock. Huh? Did I miss something here? And Uncle Sam will have a controlling share of the stock with something close to 50 percent ownership. And no bankruptcy judge. So this is a political restructuring run by the White House, not a rule-of-law bankruptcy-court reorganization. . . . With Geithner running the Treasury and the potentially criminal enterprise called TARP, is his incestuous relationship with Wall Street bigwigs a perfect example of the fox guarding the henhouse? Was he too cozy to keep a critical eye on the very institutions that blew up later?”

Civil War Incitement?
"The Democrat-run Congress, liberal Republicans and Barack Obama are systematically bleeding the country dry, with their ongoing thefts of the US Treasury—under the guise of “stimulus bills” that stimulate nothing but these corrupt power-elite. We-the-People are being reduced to serfs in the US’ burgeoning Communo-fascist feudal state. Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder is in the process of dismantling the Second Amendment and making it null and void. "

Paging John Galt
Senior executives on both sides of the Atlantic on Friday warned of an exodus of talent from some of the biggest names in US finance, saying the “anti-American” measures smacked of “a McCarthy witch-hunt” that would send the country “back to the stone age”...
“Commodity traders are already moving to companies like BP where they can make as much money as they used to,” said another banker at a US firm.
Bankers at Deutsche Bank said it could benefit from the proposed legislation by poaching its US rivals’ most talented employees.
Yeah, until we get our 'global' solution and everyone's screwed equally.

Top Ten Obama/Biden Gaffes Thus Far
According the a blogger at Britain's The Telegraph Newspaper/Website...
This is probably the worst of them thus far (a whole 60 days into his Presidency):
3. Gordon Brown presents the new President with: a pen holder carved from the timbers of HMS Gannett, a sister ship of HMS Resolute; the commissioning certificate of HMS Resolute; and a seven-volume biography of Winston Churchill. In return, the Prime minister gets 25 DVDS, which don't work in Britain:

More Good News
Attorney General Eric Holder said some detainees being held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, may end up being released in the U.S. as the Obama administration works with foreign allies to resettle some of the prisoners.
Releasing terrorists picked up on the battlefield directly into the US, eh? Quite a novel way to defend America. It must be part of that 'keep your friends close, but your enemies closer' thing'... What could possibly go wrong?
Perhaps they'll move in with Obama's buddy, Bill Ayers.

No Hypocricy Here
Then:
On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, just minutes before learning of the terrorist attacks on America, Democratic strategist James Carville was hoping for President Bush to fail, telling a group of Washington reporters: "I certainly hope he doesn't succeed."
In 2006, 51 percent of Democrats wanted Bush to fail, according to a FOX News/Opinion Dynamics poll.
Now:
...Rush Limbaugh recently said he wanted President Obama to fail. The press devoted wall-to-wall coverage to the remark, suggesting that Limbaugh and, by extension, conservative Republicans, were unpatriotic.

Maybe its all Michelle's Fault?
Perhaps this explains it:
Was 'Lady Macbeth' behind Barack Obama's snub of Gordon Brown?
"This was not the act of a global statesman, but of a hormonal teenager dismissing her bestest of best BFs for no other reason than that she felt like it and she can, so there."

Obamas insult Britain
Michelle Malkin: The British have begun to worry about the “special relationship” in the Anglosphere since the election of Barack Obama. First, the visit from Gordon Brown failed to get the usual Rose Garden joint-presser treatment from the White House this week. Now the Daily Mail reports that Obama cheaped out on the traditional gift exchange, rustling up some DVDs in exchange for a thoughtful gift from Brown:
Mr Brown’s gifts included an ornamental desk pen holder made from the oak timbers of Victorian anti-slaver HMS Gannet, once named HMS President.
Mr Obama was so delighted he has already put it in pride of place in the Oval Office on the Resolute desk which was carved from timbers of Gannet’s sister ship, HMS Resolute.
Another treasure given to the U.S. President was the framed commission for HMS Resolute, a vessel that came to symbolise Anglo-US peace when it was saved from ice packs by Americans and given to Queen Victoria.
Finally, Mr Brown gave a first edition set of the seven-volume classic biography of Churchill by Sir Martin Gilbert
More Clinton Gaffes
"I have never understood multiparty democracy. It is hard enough with two parties to come to any resolution, and I say this very respectfully, because I feel the same way about our own democracy, which has been around a lot longer than European democracy."
The remark provoked much headshaking in the parliament of a bloc that likes to trace back its democratic tradition thousands of years to the days of classical Greece.
One working lunch later with EU leaders, Clinton raised more eyebrows when she referred to EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana, who stood beside her, as "High Representative Solano."
She also dubbed European Commission External Relations Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner as "Benito."
Funny how none of this really gets reported... If Condi had done any of this, she would have been excoriated. Of course, she also knows how to speak Russian...

Clinton's Hard Work Pays Off With Failure
“We worked hard to get the right Russian word. Do you think we got it?” Clinton said as reporters, allowed in to observe the first few minutes of the meeting, watched.
“You got it wrong,” Lavrov said, to Clinton’s clear surprise. Instead of "reset," he said the word on the box meant “overcharge.”
I said failure, but more likely its yet another insult to a foreign country.
It's funny how the Reuter's article completely skipped the gaffe in their story though... Perhaps they didn't actually see the video of the event.

Maybe We Need More Crisis
First Rahm Emanuel: "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that its an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before... and this crisis provides the opportunity for us as I would say the opportunity to do things you could not do before"
Now Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told an audience Friday "never waste a good crisis,"

New Deal 2.0 = Great Depression 2.0 ?
“We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work.”
“I want to see this country prosperous. I want to see people get a job. I want to see people get enough to eat. We have never made good on our promises.”
“I say after eight years of this Administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started. … And an enormous debt to boot!”
Hmmm... Who's words might those be? Ever heard of Henry Morgenthau Jr. - who spoke these words in 1939 while testifying to the House Ways and Means Committee. And just who is this Henry Morgenthau Jr.?
He's been described as a close friend, lunch companion and - oh - Treasury Secretary to "Progressive (modern Liberal)" FDR himself from 1934 until the end of FDR's presidencies.
As much as I might like the fact that he saw the delusion of Keynesian economics for what it was, he also was a leading participant in the establishment of The Bretton Woods System, the International Monetary Fund and what would become the "World Bank". These are all systems enabling the "government" - in whatever form - to meddle in the free market in order to make sure we never had any more wild economic swings. Throw the Federal Reserve System (The Fed) in there as well which was created by America's first "Progressive" president Woodrow Wilson in 1913 and judge for yourself how well they've done.
No economic bubbles or recessions since 1913. Your government has everything under control.
