Ban Guns: Double you Crime Rate

Despite a ban on handguns introduced in 1997 after 16 children and their teacher were shot dead in the Dunblane massacre the previous year, their use in crimes has almost doubled to reach 4,671 in 2005-06. Official figures show that although Britain has some of the toughest anti-gun laws in the world, firearm use in crime has risen steadily.

Imagine that! A disarmed public faces increased gun crime. Who could have predicted that?

Don't Spit: Reduce "Global Warming"

A major new scientific study concludes the impact of carbon dioxide emissions on worldwide temperatures is largely irrelevant, prompting one veteran meteorologist to quip, "You can go outside and spit and have the same effect as doubling carbon dioxide."

Who is it that's killing Muslims?

How Obama "Supports the Troops"

Who you callin' naive?

Barak Obama, Democrat Presidential contender recently stated that he'd be willing to attack into Pakistan if there were high value targets that Pakistan refused to take out. Considering Pakistan is an ally, I'm not sure threatening them with invasion / bombing would be considered good international relations. Pakistan doesn't seem to like the idea. These guys sure don't.

Way to go, Barak. Why don't you "flush a Koran down the toilet" while you're at it.

A turning point for Iraq?

This is tremendous news!

Iraq completed one of sport's great fairytales by beating Saudi Arabia 1-0 in the Asian Cup final on Sunday to provide a rare moment for celebration in their war-torn homeland.

— Milwaukee, June 4. A U.S. person's carryon baggage contained wire coil wrapped around a possible initiator, an electrical switch, batteries, three tubes and two blocks of cheese. The bulletin said block cheese has a consistency similar to some explosives.

— Houston, Nov. 8, 2006. A U.S. person's checked baggage contained a plastic bag with a 9-volt battery, wires, a block of brown clay-like minerals and pipes.

— Baltimore, Sept. 16, 2006. A couple's checked baggage contained a plastic bag with a block of processed cheese taped to another plastic bag holding a cellular phone charger.

22% worse than ever ?!

Hmmm. 14% is an all time low for confidence in Congress. The previous low was 18% which occurred with Democrats under Clinton, Democrats before Clinton and now its the Democrats under Bush.

I'm sensing a pattern here...

Fred Thompson for President!

I've signed up on the Fred Thompson bandwagon.

Please check out his early website and start paying attention to politics. I know its early, but things are heading toward Socialism in this country and the Democrats are leading the charge. Thompson believes in Federalism, not early-stage Communism.
